This week-end London plans to host Namibia’s fist ever Beat masters competition. The doors open at nine and the compo starts at 23h00. The voting will be done by SMS (live text to screen) so at the end of the day the crowd will decide. I am working on some prizes to boost SMS participation. As for the DJ’s it’s a winner take all scenario with the winner walking away with the title and maybe even a cash prize. The whole point of this is for you guys to have some fun and for your supporters to interact with you, and for you to get some play time; as many of you don’t get the opportunity to play every week-end.

My hope is that this will be enjoyable for everyone and that it will not turn into a fight of egos as I feel you are all good in your own right and own style and due to the nature of the competition Saturday’s beat master will actually be the one who communicates best with the crowd and technical ability will be secondary. The dj’s who are battling it out for that evening are: REO, RU-D, S!gmatis, Jared-G, da pranksta and others, please come and support these guys and make it an event not to be missed
